RANDOMNESS ENSUES * 2
A while....
I didn't realize again how long it has been, but there haven't been a whole lot of things that have been interesting in my life.
School had gotten out mid July, I passed all my classes. That is a big hurra for me since I would have been put on academic suspension if I didn't. So the past little bit has been focused on just working. There was a month in which there was no school, so things were really quite around here. (Small college town + no school = boring, and no people.)
Though at the beginning of August Mum, Dad, Kaytie, Jared and I all too a trip up to Canada to drive down memory lane. I got to get to know my Cousin Rob a little bit better, that was enjoyable. Also visited a place called Writing on Stone. Way fun, its a bunch of weathered rock formations that you can climb all over and play in. I loved it.
We headed over to Kindersley where I spent a large chunk of my life growing up, visited Grandpa twice, once on the way to Saskatoon and once on the way. Also on the way back we went and visited our old Branch. It was tiny but we got quite the reception.
Over all the trip was only about 5 days, quick but worth it. I would like to make another trip and just relaxe on my way through.
Since the trip its just been working and hanging out with Doug. Things are going to be changing at the airport so I was affraid that I wouldn't have a job coming October, but I was reasured by my boss this week that I would have a position. Big relief for me let me tell you. I was going to request transfering back to Seattle just so I wouldn't have to find another job here (impossible feat, Rexburg has no jobs, and the ones it does have pay nothing.) So it should be interesting how things turn out these coming monthes.
Your pretty much caught up on my life now. Oh, my new roommates just moved in the last 2 days. Interesting bunch. All several years younger than I am, so should be an interesting semester.

One crazy night, and success
We'll as crazy as night one can get while in Rexburg Idaho. After getting of work I decided that I need to exercise since I haven't done anything since I crashed my bike on Monday. Banged up my hand and leg a little bit. The leg is fine, but the hand still needs to work on its functionality.
At any rate back to the exercising, I put on some shorts and grabbed my mp3 player and headed over to the track to do some running. As I was walking over I noticed that some of my old Ultimate Frisbee buddies were playing, so I put down my mp3 player and joined them for about a half hour. They were exhausted, but I needed something a little more to get my over exercise time in. So put in my earphones and started around the track. About a mile into my run I took a look at my watch and noticed that the field lights were going to be turning off soon (in about 40 min) so I decided not to stop running till they turned off.
Now the most I have ever ran is 3 miles, so I knew I would be pushing it. In the end I ran for 50 min going 5 miles. That just about a miracle in my books. I suppose its kinda like swimming in the Pacific Ocean, if you can stay in till your body goes numb then you can stay in for a lot longer. I always struggle in my run till the endorfin's kick in, then its smooth sailing, (sailing with a lot of wheezing and coughing.)
As far as developing my blog goes, I have made some headway. I was able to get a simple RSS feed going. I struggled getting it to talk to my database, (meaning getting the php to work with the xml) but with trial and error and looking at a lot of examples I was able to get it to work. I hope to refine it over time though.
This is one more step for my to become a web developing genius!

Creating my own blog
With the creation of my new site and also finally learning data base stuff I have decided to create my own blog. It may be lame right now but I'm working on it. I'm hope to have an RSS feed attached to this so people can follow as it's updated.
But anyhow, well see how things turn out.
