English 311 - Research Writing

This research writing class is one of the last general class I am required to take here at BYU--Idaho. It is also one of the more useful classes I have taken. Growing up I alway dreaded the task of writing papers. I never knew what to write about, so I ended up just putting together a bunch of sources I could find about a subject.

Now that I'm older and wiser I have learned what these papers are really meant for. I was required to write two papers on any subject I wanted. Since I am going into a controvercial industry I took the opportunity to research how others felt about it. I was surprised at the mix of oppinions.

Through my research I peiced together two papers. The first of which is an informative paper about how the internet has effected the advertising industry. The second paper defends the advertising against those that claim it is totally and completely unethical.
